mt writes: Man, Crested Butte has got to be the worst race ever. The track isn't even a proper super d track, let alone one suitable for dh. Lots of locals act like you're kicking their dog just because you showed up. The promoter was overheard bitching about how no one thanked him after how hard he worked to get the event going and about how downhillers suck, etc. I say good riddance to Crested Butte as part of the MSC. |

mt writes: The crew is on the road with truck and trailer, headed to Crested Butte. I fly into Gunnison tomorrow morning to meet up with them. See all you non-St. Anners down there! |

mt writes: Well, Deer Valley was fun for awhile, then I fell down. Billy and Camp looked good in the slalom action, but over-aggressive riding led to their early departure. My leg still hurts. |

mt writes: I've spent a couple days hanging with Jonty, Amado, and JoelBain and hitting up some dh. Thanks for the fun riding boys. And a big thanks to Lou and Anthony DeAngelis for hosting an epic day of shuttling yesterday. |

mt writes: I always thought dh bikes looked a little weird without a plate up front - kinda like some moto goon riding around the track without one. Well, my boy EJ at www.goprodecal.com tool care of this little number for me. They're super jight, durable, and infinitely customizable. |

mt writes: We're back from a fun week at Angel Fire. Dougie wins KOD in downhill and I nabbed it in 4x with a couple nifty starts. Thanks for the squeeze George. Ziegman and Camp's weekends were filled with crashes and some sore ankles. Moga survived a couple near misses on the rock-spine thing on the dh track. Everyone should be healthy in a couple weeks. We soldier on. Spooney should hit me with some pics of the weekend soon. PFFTTT! yeah right! |

mt writes: We're off to Angel Fire tomorrow. It will be nice to finally get on a proper dh track and bang out some runs. Check back for updates. |

mt writes: I can't believe I forgot to mention this before, but we owe a huge debt of gratitude to our man Clay Watson at Kustom Kar Audio. He went absolutely nuts on the team trailer a couple weeks ago. The thing ROCKS! Clay went way above and beyond the call of duty to completely pimp out our rig. Stop by at Angel Fire and we'll give you a tour of his handiwork. |

mt writes: Sorry for slacking on the updates. Stuff has been crazy getting everything ready for the season. Last weekend was the opening round of the Mountain States Cup at Darner's in Nathrop, CO. The team did pretty well. In 4x on Saturday I got 6th, Dave Z. was 8th, and D Camp made the round of 16. Sunday brought the dual slalom where Camp made the round of 8, Ziegman the round of 16, Thompson the round of 32, and Moga the round of 64. Training this week and getting ready for Angel Fire next weekend. We're all looking forward to some good racing and seeing lots of great friends. |

mt writes: WHOA! I got a fat little present today from the Brown Santa. MY man EJ at Go Pro Decal absolutely hooked us up this year. In addition to doing an incredible job on our new jerseys, he also did us right with some new banners for our pit. I can't thank you enough EJ! You're the best! Look for pics of us in the new Fox Racing kits soon. |

moga writes: Hi, we just got to Sea Otter travelling in the new Spike van, sleeping "very cozy" and eating delicious homemade muffins. There was a little snow on Vail pass. We saw Nasty's jumps and they could very well be the coolest dirt jumps I have ever seen. It's late. Till tomorrow. |

No crazy political rants from him, but I guess I forgot to ask him about that Australian Taliban guy! LOL! He said to tell everyone hello. God, I can't wait to see that kid. Pita Pit and Carbone's are on me Benny! |

mt writes: Sorry for slacking on the updates lately. We've been getting a fair bit of dh training in along with some digging at the Arbor Lake. Yesterday there was a decent-sized crew helping get things up and running. Also, we've started on a new line and it's looking pretty good. Here's a pic of the second set. That's a lip on the leftof the frame and a landing on the right! Boosh!!! |

mt writes: Dougie, Mihai, and I got back in town early this morning from a four day training camp out in Boulder City. We were busy doing some suspension testing for Manitou and trying out our new e13 chainguides. We packed our hotel room with us, Swentz, Razian, Jess, Spom City and our boy Scott. Cramped quarters for sure, but we had a great time. People seemed pretty stoked on our new Fox gear too. |

Nate has been Spiked, re-Spiked and then Spiked some more and I have been seeing what happens when i drive my melon into the ground at full speed. Spomer took it from the foam to the street! He has burn marks from his tire all over his shoulder. Stay tuned for a photo gallery, video teaser and more updates tomorrow evening. |

mt writes: Woodward West is awesome. Thanks to Mike Miranda for allowing us to come shred. We reconvened with Zach Hensley and his NorCal crew and Randy Spangler made the drive down from rain-soaked Sacramento to join the action. We had a great day sessioning the dirt jumps and skate parks. |

mt writes: Back to Sheeps today so the Lazian could get reacquainted with his hardtail, then onto Hidden again. After earning some good karma we had a great session and rode until dark. And despite what people may say, Taylor Sage is a pretty normal dude and a hard-working digger. Now it's on to Woodward for a couple days and then home. |

mt writes: Day one in the books. There is no way we could have driven through the nite without the help of the SPIKE. Today, we rode at Sheep Hills and Hidden Valley. Sheeps was suffering from a serious lack of upkeep, but Hidden was awesome. It felt so good to get back on the bike - once we shook the cobwebs off. We also went to Huntington pier and checked out the scene. Quote of the day: "The ocean? It's not that deep." - John Reynolds Check back for pics and such tomorrow. Right now we need some sleep. |
